General Questions

We’re currently on Book One in The Asteria Chronicles series. There are no additional books beyond book one at this time. Anyone claiming otherwise isn’t affiliated with us.

However, Book II has been confirmed and is currently in development. Its release is still a ways off—likely one to two years from now. For now, our main focus is on perfecting and marketing the first book, while also creating short stories and developing a few side stories. Our long-term goal is to complete a five-book series, though we know it will take time to bring that vision to life.

Our main focus remains on continuing the main high-fantasy novel series while expanding the world through short stories and side narratives. We do plan to release additional series set within the same universe, possibly exploring different timelines—such as 100 years in the past or future—but this is not a priority at the moment.

In the future, we may branch into other genres like Dungeon Break, LitRPG, Regression, Wuxia/Xianxia, Villainess stories, Kingdom-Building Progression Fantasy, Romance Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, and even eSports-themed MMO books (yes, we’re hitting all modern fantasy tropes), but those are plans for further down the road.

There isn’t an audiobook just yet, but we plan to create one! We’d also love to release short stories and other works with audio down the line. Given the cost of audio production for a book this size, it’s not our current priority, but it will happen eventually.

We collaborate with a talented network of professional artists and concept designers, including contributors to AAA fantasy titles such as League of Legends, Diablo, Dungeons & Dragons, and Hearthstone. Together, we ensure every illustration remains faithful to the world we’re building.

One caveat is some of our free, non-commercial content on our website, such as blog posts or short story panels may temporarily use AI-generated placeholder images or reference images from the open web. These are not final assets, only rough visual approximations of what we envision. If any of this content is ever released commercially, every illustration and visual will be created exclusively by industry-leading human artists.

Every commercial product we release, including our books, art gallery, and interactive World Map, is created by skilled human creators. If a product is paid, you can be assured that both the writing and artwork are made by humans.

As programmers and writers, we’re open to new technology, but we believe great storytelling requires human creativity. As such, we do not use AI to generate, draft, or creatively assist any of our work. We’re very deliberate in our worldbuilding and lore, so every idea, scene, character, and line is created by us or our editors.

The only tool we use for writing is Grammarly for grammar, spelling, and readability. When we began writing this series nearly four+ years ago, Grammarly contained no AI features, and we adopted it purely as a traditional writing aid. As the software evolved, we simply continued using it.

To keep writing as far as this road will take us.

Our goal is to expand The Asteria Chronicles, explore new series, and continue building the World of Asteria. Ideally, we’d like to release one or two books each year, depending on the time and support we have.

If you enjoy our work, the best way to help is by purchasing our books or supporting us through our platforms. Every purchase and every bit of support helps us keep doing what we love and continue creating new stories.

Yes and no.

The book will eventually be available on Amazon once the current web serial concludes and we feel it is the right time to enter the Amazon ecosystem. However, we’re still deciding whether to include it in Kindle Unlimited.

If we do join Kindle Unlimited, we’ll provide at least one month’s notice and likely reduce the digital version’s price on our website beforehand so readers have the opportunity to purchase it at a discounted rate. We may also only participate in Kindle Unlimited for a limited time.

For now, our focus is on writing more books and choosing the path that best supports the future of the series.

The main novel series contains minor levels of profanity and violence. Other works may vary in the levels of content, topics, and themes presented, with some works being child-friendly, others including profanity and/or mature themes, and others including more explicitly adult themes. A content advisory will be provided for short stories on the website, and anything explicitly adult will require age verification.

Patreon members will receive exclusive early access to short stories and artwork before they are publicly released on the website. Special collaborations may be available exclusively to Patrons, and certain tiers may include additional perks such as detailed character information, exclusive Q&A sessions, and writing feedback and reviews.

We will also offer guides on book writing and marketing, as well as opportunities for special collaborations with the authors based on membership duration. As we continue to grow, we will be adding more benefits to our tiers, and members can cancel at any time with no hassle.

We’ll let you know once we’ve got one in the works (we’re still working on it), but hey, it’s bound to be good, right?

At the moment, we’re not actively planning to attend or host any events, signings, or conventions. Our focus is on hiring new talent, expanding the brand and business and writing more cool stuff. However, once we do decide to plan a book signing or other event, our subscribers will be the first to receive the news.

Although there are no current plans to offer editorial work, it’s possible that things may shift in the future.

OTHER INQUIRIES

You can purchase the book directly on our website, or through affiliate platforms (in the future) like Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble, BookBub, and Apple Read. Please note that digital pricing may vary depending on the fees and charges of each platform, but our website typically offers the best deals. Additionally, physical copies are only available through our website, while other sites will only offer the digital version.

When you purchase a digital or physical copy of the book, you automatically receive a free digital bundle. This includes the PDF, Kindle, Kobo, and mobile EPUB versions. You’ll get a confirmation email with download links for every format. Sometimes this email doesn’t arrive due to spam filters, a mistyped address, or sending restrictions.

If that happens, simply create an account on our website using the same email you used at checkout. Once you log in, you should see all your files available for download via your dashboard.

If you still can’t access your files, feel free to reach out at support@worldasteria.com and we’ll help you right away.

Right now, we’re focused on keeping complete control over the quality of every book we ship. That’s why physical copies are sold exclusively through our website. In the future, we may release the digital edition on platforms like Amazon or Barnes & Noble, but for now, every physical product can only be found here.

We accept all major payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Venmo. While we do not currently support Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), or other cryptocurrencies through our website, this may change in the future. If you wish to purchase the book using cryptocurrency, please contact us at support@worldasteria.com for assistance.

Yes, we offer promotions and discounts from time to time. These are typically available to individuals through special offers, or as a benefit for our Patreon members. To stay updated on the latest deals, we recommend following our website, newsletter, and (future) Patreon page, as we occasionally send out exclusive discounts and early access to offers.

Orders are expected to arrive within 7-14 business days from the date of purchase, depending on your location. If you have not received your order within 10 business days, please contact us at support@worldasteria.com with your full name, order ID, initial email confirmation, and order details. Once reviewed, we’ll promptly assess your order. If it was lost in transit, we’ll issue a replacement or refund at no additional cost.

Please note that even though your order has been processed, it may take a few days before you receive a tracking number. This delay happens because our logistics partners are handling other orders while yours waits in the queue. A tracking number is only generated once your package transfers from our shipping partners to a major carrier like USPS, UPS, or FedEx

We’re not Amazon yet, but we’re working hard to speed up our shipping times in the near future.

We currently offer shipping to the United States, United Kingdom (UK), Europe, Australia and Canada. Shipping to Asia and Oceania is available, though rates are significantly higher. At this time, we do not ship to the Middle East. Our system automatically checks shipping availability for all orders. If you’re in a region we can’t ship to, we’ll email you and issue a refund within 24 hours.

The digital version, however, is available worldwide, as these restrictions apply only to physical orders.

Enjoy free shipping on all orders within the United States and United Kingdom. For Europe, there’s a flat $4.99 shipping fee, and for Canada, it’s $9.99. Shipping to Asia and Oceania typically costs $15.00 or more, as we don’t regularly ship to those regions—but if you are willing to pay the extra fee, we’re happy to arrange a special order.

Orders are shipped via Express Mail or delivered directly to your door, mailbox or parcel locker using FedEx Priority, UPS Ground, USPS Media Mail, or other major carriers depending on your region. For UK orders, we ship using Royal Mail 1st Class, Yodel, or DPD. All orders within the United States and United Kingdom include tracking. Packages are wrapped in protective newspaper to help safeguard your book during transit.

Tracking is included with most orders. All shipments within the United States and United Kingdom come with full tracking, and many regions in Europe and Canada also include tracking. Some regions in Canada and Europe don’t include tracking due to hard tariff or VAT restrictions. For orders without tracking, we’ll send you email or SMS updates once your package has shipped. You can always reach us at support@worldasteria.com if you’d like more details about your order.

Please note that even though your order has been processed, it may take a few days before you receive a tracking number. This delay happens because our logistics partners are handling other orders while yours waits in the queue. A tracking number is only generated once your package transfers from our shipping partner facility to a major carrier facility like USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

For orders shipped to Asia and Oceania, tracking availability may vary depending on the destination. If your order does not arrive and tracking cannot be verified, you may be eligible for a refund or replacement following an internal review. If approved, a maximum of only one replacement will be issued. Please confirm your shipping address via email to minimize the risk of delivery issues.

If you receive a damaged or defective book, please contact us at support@worldasteria.com within seven days of recieving the item. To help us resolve the issue quickly, include your name, order number, shipping address, date of purchase, date of delivery, and clear photos of both the damaged book and the packaging. Damage is defined as severely ripped pages, significant misprints on the cover or back (such as visible white overhang), a broken spine, or a cracked or warped cover.

Normal signs of transit—like minor edge wear, small scuffs, or light corner dings do not qualify as damage. Once reviewed, we’ll issue a full refund or send a replacement at no additional cost.

You have 72 hours (3 days) from the time of purchase to cancel your order and request a refund. This policy applies exclusively to physical orders and remains valid only if the item has not entered a non-recallable shipping queue. We will notify you if your order is still eligible for recall.

Upon cancellation, a $9.99 digital refund fee will be deducted from your refund, resulting in a partial reimbursement of the original book price (e.g., $39.99 for hardcover edition minus the $9.99 fee). Please note that all standalone digital orders are non-refundable once purchased, under any circumstance. We encourage you to review your selection carefully before completing your order.

We’re always working to add more file formats for readers. Right now, we cover most major options including Kobo, mobile EPUB, Kindle, and PDF. If you notice any issues with these formats on your device, please let us know. Our team can fix formatting problems or add new formats when needed. If you use a format we don’t currently offer, feel free to email us and we’ll work on adding it. It may take a couple of days, but once it’s ready, it will be added to all future orders at no extra cost.

Refunds, Cancellations, and Modifications Policy:

Once a physical book has been delivered, we do not accept returns or exchanges, and refunds will not be issued for change-of-mind requests. In exceptional cases, we may consider an exception at our sole discretion. If you believe your situation qualifies, please contact us via email for review.

If your order has not yet shipped or entered the shipment queue, you have up to seventy-two (72) hours from the time of purchase to request a modification by contacting us at support@worldasteria.com. Within this window, you may upgrade your order (e.g., from softcover to hardcover) for an additional fee or add eligible value-added items such as enamel pins, bookmarks, or art prints, subject to availability. Downgrades are not permitted; however, you may cancel your order within the same seventy-two (72) hour period, provided it has not entered an irreversible shipment queue. We’ll inform you if a refund is still possible. Please note that requests made during the final hours of this window are less likely to be eligible for cancellation, so please email us at your earliest convenience. Refunds typically take three (3) to five (5) business days to be processed by your financial institution.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that the digital version included with your order is non-refundable. In the event you cancel a physical book order after receiving access to the digital version, a non-refundable digital content fee of $9.99 will be deducted from your refund total. For example, if you cancel a hardcover order priced at $39.99, the resulting refund will be $30.00.

We may update this policy at any time. For full details, view our complete Returns Policy.

As digital laws continue to evolve each year, we remain committed to ensuring that anything you purchase, you own permanently. We do not track the files you download, watermark our digital files, nor can we revoke access to a digital product once it has been saved to your device. While we understand that it’s impossible to fully prevent sharing of the digital version, we kindly ask for your support in keeping things fair and respecting the work of the creators. Please limit any sharing to personal use or with close friends.

However, if we ever come across unauthorized large distribution, unauthorized public promotion, or instances of individuals claiming authorship of our work on websites or social media, we will pursue legal action to protect our intellectual property.

At the end of the day, we poured our hearts into creating this story, and your support means everything. So, please—enjoy it, recommend it, talk about it… just don’t toss up the entire book on social media platforms for the whole world to grab for free.

We welcome and encourage fan-made creations, including fan art and fan fiction. You are free to share your work on platforms such as Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, X.com, ArtStation, Pinterest, and similar sites. Commercial use or direct monetization is not permitted without prior written consent.

We collect only the personal information necessary to process your order and provide essential website functionality. This may include your name, email address (if you opt in to our newsletter), billing and shipping information, and limited technical data such as your general location and browser type via cookies. We partner only with reputable third-party services, such as Google, Facebook and Stripe, each of which maintains its own data protection practices in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Our data collection practices are in full compliance with international privacy laws, and we do not sell your information to third-party vendors under any circumstance. If you wish to have your information removed from our database for any reason, please contact us at support@worldasteria.com with the subject line “Information Removal,” and we will promptly process your request.
